Program Impact BookletAcross the country, the Y helps people give back and assist their neighbors by offering them opportunities to volunteer, advocate and support programs that strengthen community. The Sauk YMCA has been listening and responding to our communities’ most critical social needs for over 100 years. Whether developing skills or emotional well-being through education and training, or preventing chronic disease and building healthier communities through collaborations with policymakers, the Y fosters the care and respect all people need and deserve.
We’re here day-in and day-out to provide the resources our community need to address our most pressing social issues. We work to make sure every child, family and community has what they need to make positive life changes and overcome obstacles.
Volunteerism & Giving
The generosity of others is at the core of our existence. It is only through the support of our volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to give back to our community we serve.
We are a powerful ally and advocate for our communities. Our experience and strong relationships mean that we’re able to organize grassroots efforts and influence public policy around a range of social issues including child welfare, education and public health.
